The first week of class is definitely tough, right? I know you all must be fed up with the Internet connection in our class today. I’m sorry, Guys! But it’s one of the aspects that you need to consider when you’re doing CALL and later on being a teacher who is using CALL approach for your class. We’re still living in a country where Internet connection is not very fast.

Some things worth noting:

• Internet connection is like roads, it gets really slow when there is a ‘traffic jam’. I would appreciate if you don’t open other websites that are not relevant to the class while we are all in Internet, so that the connection speed will be faster.
• I found out that when everybody was doing their student profiles together, when you saved you will notice that there were people doing editing on the page. There were incidents when your student profile suddenly disappeared because people were editing your work. Don’t worry. Your profile is not lost. If you click on history of the page you’re editing, you still can find your profile. The only thing you need to do next time you edit is turn off the highlighting of your history and copy your profile. Then paste the profile in the student profile. I will point this out next week so that it’s clear to everybody.
